Sea Villa Shoreline.

I love the North Shore of Minnesota. It is our “Happy Place”. Every day we go out and explore a new place, path, river and water’s edge. It is every changing. We walk the Lutsen Sea Villa paths every day. The Villa Ridge Trail meanders through the woods crossing over quaint red bridges that lead us to the water’s edge of majestic Lake Superior. The 1/2 mile of rocky beach at the Sea Villas is some of the most picturesque shoreline of Lake Superior. Every sunrise and sunset brings a different sky. We are so lucky we get to enjoy this beautiful place in the summer.

So grateful to get up to the north shore!  We love Maureen and Buzz’s Lutsen Sea Villa E-3, where we can watch the waves roll in, work on our second wildflower book at the dining room table, watch the sun come up while the waning moon sinks down, light a fire in the wood stove, listen to the lake and enjoy the quiet. And when we are ready for a break, there are trails nearby to hike and the hot tub at the main building is waiting.  What more could we ask?

Welcome to the North Shore!

The North Shore of Lake Superior is my passion – amazing trails, lakes, vistas & rivers. The beauty and wonder never ceases to amaze me. Every day, there is something beautiful to see and places to discover. From the many rivers that flow into Lake Superior, to the awe-inspiring skies full of beautiful sunrises, sunsets, clouds and stars. We stay at our cozy Lutsen Sea Villa in Lutsen, MN – right on the water’s edge – Sea Villa unit E3. From there, we travel up and down the shoreline exploring every river and town along the way from Grand Portage to Duluth. There is never a day that is not filled with wonder and serenity. Enjoy the day!
